Don Estridge had got a bachelor degree in electrical engineering at the university of Florida, and was working in the army. While in the army he was designing a working radar system using computers, IBM and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center until he moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 1969. Though Don Estridge was a brilliant, minded person he did not win any personal awards. With Don Estridge goal of creating a low cost personal computer against other competitors such as apple computer, he took control of a small Entry Level Systems division in 1980. When creating a budget computer he had realized he would need to use great deals of third party hardware and software.
